Course Description

Cyber attacks can corrupt a company’s key transaction processing systems. Regulators are very focused on the proper functioning of these systems; example regulations include the certifications required by the New York State Department of Financial Services regarding Cybersecurity Controls and Controls over AML / OFAC Transaction Monitoring Systems. Cyber attacks often give rise to violations of Privacy regulations, as key customer information may have been compromised. Privacy regulations are getting increasingly more stringent and complex, as evidenced by the recent issuances of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and of the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). This program addresses these and other important topics which are of critical importance for regulatory compliance professionals to succeed and lead their firms within today’s challenging environment.
