You cannot manage without measuring.” Learning how to align your company performance to HR performance is introduced in this course through the use of Balanced Scorecard tool. This course will show us how to manage HR’s budget in a way that is consistent with the company’s annual strategic goals, and objectives. While many forms of quantitative and qualitative analysis are used by the organization (metrics, measurements cost/benefit analysis and financial statements) the most effective way HR can measure it success to company’s ROI/budget is with the use of scorecard. The second tool this course will address is the HR Audit. Audits measures the effectiveness and the efficiency of the numerous areas of HR and helps determine which function needs to be addressed and defines a timeline and budget to enhance it. The checklist includes the major functions of the HR area, compares the results to industry standards and begins the creation of the action plans that address the deficiencies. Learn the legal ramifications of an audit, company buy-in to fix the results, and when to employ a third party consultant to conduct the audit. Learn industry measurement standards for training, ROI, turnover costs, cost per hire, and compensation and benefits as a percentage of operating expense and see if it would be supported by the net income of your company. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Qualifies for 7 recertification credits toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification.
